Ushioda Junior High School Korean Festival
Since I didn't get much sleep, I had to get up early on top of that. I was planning to attend a festival put on by the school that I visted last year. It was really weird how I looked at the school and the people recognized me. The activities were interesting to watch and to participate in. They had a martial arts demonstration, then a Korean drumming, and a Korean dancing activity. It's mainly to celebrate the Korean culture in Yokohama. It's an annual event that happens once because Korean culture in Japan is often surpressed. Most Koreans living in Japan, often go by a Japanese name so they aren't discriminated against. It was really interesting to see the situation about it.
After the festival, we went back to Tsurumi Station and the group split up. The people in group C, and Me went to a dessert cafe to get some dessert and something to drink. I had a cheesecake dessert, it was tasty. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. The group discussed their plan for what they will present in San Diego and the issues they were going to tackle. They decided pretty quick while AMrai and me talked a little bit about the other night. Although she had forgotten most of it. That's when I realized that she didn't really care, so I stopped helping her out and let her know that she would have to do things on her own. So we'll see how things work out. I've kinda decided to leave that organization for awhile. I've been doing too much for everyone that it almost became something they were depending on, which is bad for an organization
