Sendai Again...
I was waken up about 2 hours early by SKdo's mother and their dog. I didn't think it was that nice since she just barged into the room and the dog licked me all over to wake me up. I wanted to get up early to get a picture with her, but that was ridiculous since I wanted to get enough rest to ride the train for 12 hours. That's a tiring experience trust me.
We got a few pictures, she gave me a nice card as a going away thing to read. It was all in Japanese though. She made us breakfast and then we were on our way to Sapporo Station. I was finally on my return trip back to Yokohama. I was happy that I did what I planned to do. It worked out perfectly so far. So I caught the train from Sapporo to Hakodate. From there I had to wait 2 hours for the next train so I got out of the station and walked around the area looking for lunch. I walked for about an hour and decided to go back to the station. I ended up getting a Bento box at the station and then waiting in the LONG line to get a non-reserved seat. Fortunately I was able to secure a seat. Most of the time if you don't have a reserved seat you don't sit at all, which wouldn't have been fun since this train trip would last 3 hours.
Then I arrived at Hachinohe, and I really understood why they said that I didn't want to stay there the night. There's nothing there, So I just stayed at the gate waiting for the train to come. I didn't do much, I think I might have fell asleep even waiting for the train. All seats were reserved in this train so I was lucky to get a ticket during the busiest weekends in the year. I got back to Sendai late in the evening and YSki was there to pick me up with her cousin. We then walked over to her cousin's house because that's where I would be staying the night. We talked a little bit and watched the olympics some more. After awhile we went to bed, actually it was a lot later.
