Haircut

I went all the way to Omiya to get a freakin' haircut, that's about 2 hours away. And it was in the pouring rain. But it was cool, I went with MTka so I could get a good translator to the guy cutting my hair. He didn't do a bad job. It's a bit longer than my usual, which is a nice change. She was getting her hair re-colored, since it was colored a few days previously. The cut costed me $32 with a 20% discount. That's hella expensive, since I'm used to cutting it myself for free.

Afterward we met up with her friend Megumi. It's someone she met in her high school that also studied in New Zealand with her. We went shopping for clothes for me. I needed some new threads to go to work. I ended up buying a new summer suit, a carrying bag, two new shirts, a tie, some socks which ended up being a grand total of about $177. The problem was my credit cards didn't work. So I had to pay in Cash. I had exactly $177.64 in my wallet after getting my haircut, and paying for my train ticket. Which meant that I had only 64 cents left. That wasn't enough to buy dinner. So I had to get a loan of 600 yen from MTka to eat at Lotteria. We chilled there for a bit till I had to go home. I wanted to be ready for my presentation for the next day.
