Meeting with the English Dept. Chair and YMCA

So I had to come back again at 2:20pm so I left around 11:30am to get there on time. I arrived just in the nick of time. I was waiting in the "conference room" for them. It was a pretty quick conversation between us all. I learned that I will be working 15 classes a week. Which is only 15 hours total, but it's 15 different classes at different grade levels. They are working me in their schedule, and it seems pretty busy, but managable.

Later that evening I had an appointment to meet up with some YOKE people because they were doing an activity to get some research done before they head off to San Diego. They were visiting the YMCA to get some information. I went and it was actually an interesting Lecture. At first it was a little slow, but to hear about the perspective he has on certain issues. The main topics were trauma, psychology, HIkikomori, and the different programs that they have opposed to the ones in America.

After the lecture, we had a meeting with the delegates afterwards to discuss the plan of action and what they wanted to present in their presentation at the symposium in San Diego. They separated into three groups. After that, AMrai and I went to dinner, since she has a tendency to just leave me out of things. We had a pretty good conversation about the differences between the societies in Yokohama and San Diego. The approaches and even the reasons for doing things. She was really interested and learned many things. I also learned many things. I ended up looking up a lot of things on the internet after I arrived home. To help her out
