Clean up day

Today, RWd is coming to stay at my place. The first friend to do so. I'm excited, but he hasn't planned much for his trip in Japan. That really puts a lot of pressure for me because I don't want to be planning his trip. But I needed to get my room ready for him to come over. I mean my room was quite messy before, so I needed to clean up a lot. But I managed to do so before he arrived. Just in the nick of time too. I'm glad I was able to finish, I feel better just knowing that my room is much cleaner too. I did some laundry and actually finished putting together my emergency kit. I'm still missing a few things, but I will add that soon.

He arrived around 8:30pm at Totsuka station. But was having trouble locating his ticket, that could lead to us standing there for 10 minutes until he could find the ticket. My first impression wasn't good. It shows a high level of irresponsiblity. Something that I don't have much patience for. I'm being tested on that and I'm sure that will pushed to its limits. I can already tell, that I'm not going to like this visit very much. Only to be honest and only because I know that no one that reads this knows him. That's something that I really dislike, people who aren't responsible for themselves.

I mean before the trip began, I had asked him for his plan when he came to Japan, but he never gave me a clear cut answer. That was the beginning of what I would know to be as a bad answer. I posted a little while back, that if you fail to plan you plan to fail. So I can see that his trip will envitably be average because he won't be able to take care of himself. Still like a child in my eyes. Always relying on other people to help him out. Reminds me of someone else that I know. Which is a trait I don't think to highly of. I don't like it when people who are old enough to take care of themselves can't and won't. It's quite ridiculous as a matter of fact. But we will see how things turn out. It's only the first day and I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

After we came back to my house and he unpacked, we had dinner at Saizeriya. Interesting, not that great, but not as horrible as everyone makes it. I also realized that his Japanese isn't up to par either. Something that I'm quite surprised about. Since he's studied more than I have and has a lot of Japanese friends. And seems to have a lot of Japanese female interests. Anyways, I'm not judging, just simply stating the obvious. I like him, that's why I decided to take him in and let him stay with me. I'm just worried that he won't have fun and take it out on me because I have to work next week. And not to mention I still haven't finished my lesson plans for that yet. I really need to get started on that, or I'll get screwed on my first day on the job on my own. So I'll get started on that soon. Quite interesting fellow to say the least.
