A day relaxing at home

I spent the majority of today at home. It was such a nice day today too. I hadn’t planned to go out so I didn’t. I had enough food to eat at home today that I didn’t even need to leave to get food, which is the main reason why I leave my house on my days off. I just stayed home and worked on my computer a lot. Today was mainly just a research day.

I checked up on the news a lot today too. I was researching for new laptops to buy. I’m really leaning towards the Sony Vaio Type S because of all the cool features that it has up above the competition and all the others are around the same price with all the things that I want on it. I was thinking about even getting a desktop since it would be cheaper and would be packed with even more of the things that I want for a smaller price. But I would like something that is portable in case I would need to take it to school, which some of my lessons later on in the semester require me to do. But if I get it in Japan, I think they only offer it on a Japanese Operating System, which would be something that I’m not all to happy about.

I had talked to AWs today too. We had a pretty long conversation, well according to our standards at least. He recommended that I either get a Toshiba or a Fujitsu since he has a Fujitsu and is very happy with it. I checked up on it and it wasn’t too bad, but I’m just wondering what extra things they pack in there that would be impressive. I haven’t done that much work on researching for a new cell phone although I should. I’m looking at changing to AU or DoCoMo. For the AU there is only one model that I want, and for DoCoMo there are a few that I would consider. But I read on the news today that in December they will release a new model phone, so I was thinking about just waiting till then and then get the latest phone that has the Push-To-Talk feature much like the ones that I had with my Nextel, which I also found out today merged with Sprint. So that was interesting since in the US I had a Nextel and then changed to Sprint only to have them merge. I’m sure they will be releasing new phones by the time I go back to the US and I guess that would be a good carrier for me still.
