Talking to Family
I talked to my family about the trip to Japan. They will most likely come on Christmas and leave on the 5th of January when I’m not even in Yokohama to be with them. I think that’s pretty much final though. I think my family is really starting to get excited about it and they should be since it will be fun. I haven’t planned anything for their trip yet and I’m starting to see that I’m falling behind on everything else too. But I don’t feel very motivated to change that course either.
I also decided that getting a Mac wouldn’t be feasible for me since I’d have to get a whole new set of hardware to go with it and it would end up being too expensive for me. So now I’m looking at getting a PC so that I could use the webcams and everything else that I have. I’m not really happy about that since I was set on getting a powerbook. I’m a bit disappointed since I won’t be able to get it. I’m still looking for ways to make it happen, but at this point, I don’t think that it will.
I made spaghetti to eat today and then I got sick afterwards. I’m not sure if it was the gift of processed fish that made me ill, but it was something that wasn’t good.
I took a long walk today to the grocery store. I needed to get some stuff from the 100 yen store so I could make a CD for tomorrow’s school festival, but when I came home it still didn’t work. I got some things that would be useful for me in the coming days, but then I realized that it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, so that was a bummer. I think that I’ll have to go to school early to see if I could use the schools’ computer to burn it and if not, I’ll have to find another way with only 30 minutes left before the school festival begins. But I’m sure that I’ll figure something out, even if I only have a limited amount of time.
