Yokohama Tour

Today, we got up late because I let him catch up on sleep. We didn't get up until around noon and didn't leave until around 1pm, but I managed to squeeze everything that I wanted to do in today. I gave the typical Yokohama tour that I normally give, but actually today was a little extended. Normally I would guide people from Sakuragicho Station to Ishikawacho station or the Landmark Tower to Chinatown / Motomachi street. But today we went from Yokohama station to Chinatown / Motomachi street. It wasn't that bad of a walk and we finished everything that I wanted to cover today before we went back to grab dinner at TTki's house. I was happy that we were able to squeeze everything in, I think it was a good experience for him and I think he enjoyed it. I liked it too, since I haven't taken that tour myself in a long ass time too.

Then around 6pm we started our trip back home. We stopped by the grocery store to pick up some drinks, mainly for my earthquake kit. It didn't take long to get home it seemed and when we got home, we just kinda hung around till dinner started at 7:30pm. I went through some magazines that I picked up at HMV just to review what's popular. But I really wanted him to call to make the other appointments so that things would be scheduled so I know what to plan for and how to handle the situation. I would hate to be inconvenienced on his part since I already hold a considerable amount of work as is. And I will start work soon, so he'll be on his own no matter what. He only made one appointment, but that was one more than we had before, so I was happy.

Then after that we went to the party dinner. It was quite fun actually. I was happy that I understood most of the conversation and the topics discussed. I was quite surprised too. We were watching Shaolin Soccer on TV, which was good to see again, even though it was dubbed in Japanese. It was fun when we were talking. I have met most of the people before so that was good. I think it's much better when they drink because they will enjoy themselves more and are more open to conversation and such. It's a really good icebreaker. That lasted a few more hours. I had two drinks, but RW took a lot, probably more than he's used to. So I'm sure he had fun. I just hope that he will take it upon himself to decide what to do. I think I'll make him do it tomorrow, so that he's assured a good time. He's not that excited to be in Japan I feel. It could be the jet lag, but I think that's a lousy excuse because if you're excited, you don't get jet lag. When I came to Japan both times, I wasn't jet lagged coming here, but going home sucked ass. I thought that was weird. Anyways, I'm going to shower and sleep now so we could get an early start tomorrow going to Shibuya, Harajuku, Ebisu, and maybe one other place. We'll see.
