Valentines' Day

I hadn’t done anything in a while, and I wasn’t really planning to either. I spent another day in front of my computer, but at least I was more productive today than usual. I have been working on my flash cards for my Japanese improvement. I’m almost about to finish it, I mean the first to two books. It has taken a lot of time and I hope to have learned it all by the next week or so. At least get a good jump on it.

I have a list of things that I need to take care of this week, but it appears that I won’t be able to finish all of them or even get a good start. This week hasn’t turned out like last week when I was able to finish everything. I’ve been more distracted this week as it seems. I’m really on vacation mode even though I haven’t done much. I’m not sure what to do at the start of the next week either since I don’t have any plan for the 10th graders of if anything will be changing at all. I really haven’t prepared anything for them if I have to teach them anything, which I believe that I will have to.

So this year, I spent the holiday by myself, but it’s not as bad or as poor as it sounds. I really enjoyed it. I was watching a movie today while I was making dinner. I watched 50 First Dates. It was an enjoyable movie that I’ve seen a few times already, but it’s still nice. It hasn’t lost its luster yet. Actually it was more around lunch time. At dinner time, I was watching Fuji TV and SMAP X SMAP. I think that show really is awesome. After that I watched a little bit of Chinese language study and then Eigo De Shabera- Nighto. It wasn’t that bad this week and it is encouraging for others to learn and speak English and to watch others struggle. So, I’m glad that there are programs on TV that are out for the improvement of society, even though it’s not top notch, it’s better than nothing. I’ve been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. I’m not really sure why, I mean I went to bed around 2am, but couldn’t sleep until around 4:30am. It was incredibly hot last night too, well under all the layers of blankets that I have, I’m sure it was much colder outside.
