America's Independence Day
It’s America’s birthday today. But I’m not sure that the people who founded it would proud to what it has become today. I’m really disappointed, but that’s just me.
I woke up really late today. I was incredibly tired too. I got enough sleep, but for some reason I felt like I was dying.
I slept the whole time I was on the train. I woke up at my station and switched trains only to go back to sleep until my stop. It was good that I had two hours to get to work because that was an extra two hours of sleep that I got.
I only had two classes today, so it wasn’t bad at all. I wasn’t teaching or leading any of them, so I didn’t really have much of an active role.
The first class I had was with the 9th graders. They were a bit out of it, but it seemed like they were paying attention. It was weird for a little bit. They did better than the last 9th grade class that we’ve had.
The second class for the day was with the 7th graders. We did a class on covering the seasons. They did it pretty well, but I think this class is one of the higher levels, so that was good.
I stuck around school for a little bit, but I wasn’t going to be able to last a whole day like usual. I left school around 5pm, maybe a little before. I needed some rest time. I bought some dinner at the supermarket and came home to eat it. I was watching a little game show that I will probably be making a game of later. I also heard that I only have a few more days of school left. I thought that it would extend till after the final exams, but it turns out that I don’t have any more classes after finals, so I’m home free into the summer vacation in the next two days.
Then I showered and did some studying on my laptop. I an really tired right now and tried my best to stay up, but I think I’m going to sleep now, it’s only 9:30pm too.
