Updating my website

My spymac account is back online. It’s been reactivated and I was right. It was a problem with the change over from an offline FTP to using their web-based FTP. So can you guess what I was doing today? That’s right; I was re-uploading all my files back to the web server. It took forever!! Since I have to use the MAC version of the FTP I had to do it in single files. So I had to upload all my buttons one by one, and that was the worst part. I think that since I have been working on my website from time to time that all the information and everything is in good condition. I will really be able to release the final version 1 on time like I hoped.

The invisionfree board is a little confusing to set up at first. I really didn’t understand what was going on, but somehow I figured it out and it worked. I haven’t put that on my website yet, but at least I have it set up. I think that my visitors are going to have a lot of trouble since I’m actually pretty good with computers and I wasn’t able to figure it out that easily. Even though the website itself said that it was easy to set up, it really wasn’t. So I think that I’ll probably be the only one to post since I’m the only one who knows how to use it. Hopefully though, someone else will be able to post too so I won’t be so lonely.

I took many breaks in between today because it was such a laboring task. I managed to see the second half of the Phantom of the opera today too. It wasn’t as good as I thought that it would be. I didn’t understand the end very well and thought that I must have missed something. I mean, I heard many good things about it from other teachers so I really wanted to check it out. I wasn’t very disappointed, since I wasn’t really expecting much to begin with.

I was watching a little bit of TV today too because I had some extra time on my hands. I really should have spent that time updating my xanga since I’ve fallen behind. I saw another episode of IQ suppli. I really like that show, even though I don’t understand much of what’s going on because it’s all in Japanese. I think it’s helping me improve my listening though. I need to learn more, even if it’s only in little bits; I’ve got to still be learning.

I was expecting a call from EK but never got one. I thought that we were going to be hanging out today, but since its 11pm right now, I highly doubt that. It doesn’t matter anyways because I was happy to be doing my website. I really wanted to get that out of the way first. That’s the most important thing right now since my one year anniversary is coming up. And besides it was raining very hard today. The part that makes it worse is that it’s windy too. But I’m glad that it’s not hot and humid though. That’s such a great relief. I hope that the weatherman is wrong about tomorrow and that it clears up a little bit. I’ve got a lot of walking ahead of me tomorrow and I wouldn’t really like for it to be raining cats and dogs while I do that. I’m going to try to finish up other entries now since I have the time.
