a great day

Today I didn’t have much work to do. I only had 4 classes to teach today, but today I felt great. I didn’t get much sleep, but I just felt great. I was walking with a teacher to work today. It was nice to have someone to talk to from the train station, since it’s a bit far, but not really that far. I bought my lunch at AMPM today, which I haven’t done for a long time.

The first class was with the 8th grade ran, I wasn’t leading the class or anything, but I just sensed that it would be good today. They were good today. It was one of the student’s birthday today too so we sang her happy birthday. They had to do a presentation that’s modeled from the book. It was good to hear them speak up and to make a speech.

The second class was 8th grade kiku. They needed a lot of help, but it was pretty smooth for me. They did good for their level and their ability. They also made a speech today too. I gave them a lot of time to prepare and they end up finishing before class was over. We had like 10 minutes left to spare, which is very rare in speech giving.

The third class was with 7th grade kiku. They just played the game. They are well capable of doing it so that wasn’t a problem.

During lunch, I got a sandwich made for me by CP. It was turkey meat on wheat bread. It was pretty good, but I guess no one could really mess that up. So it was good. It was enough for lunch, but I thought that I’d get hungry really quick after. That was the case.

The last class of the day for me was 11th grade fuji. We had our oral test today. It took up a lot of time and they were going really slow at it. They didn’t really prepare that well. I’m wondering if it’s me or them, but most likely it’s them. Unlike the other case today, this class went all the way through and almost into the next class time. It took up about 70% of their break time to finish, but it was their fault for going so slow and getting ready took them forever too.

I stayed for club after school and it was only me today. CP decided to leave early, but I’m not sure why.

I was able to get some printouts at school and worked on the computer to get some stuff finished. I tested all the materials that we needed to get CD’s burned for the speech contest that’s coming up.

I’m actually very hungry right now and I’m in a rush to get to bed since I have to get up really early tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a busy day since I’ve got 5 classes and I start off with a test.
