All day at home

I spent all day at home today. I didn’t even think about going outside, although it probably would have been nice to. I actually spent most of the day cooking or being involved with the cooking process. I woke up and started working on breakfast. Either I was doing that or on the computer. I talked to a few of my friends today and downloaded the latest version of MSN Messenger 8.0 Beta… also known as messenger live beta. There are things that I like about it, but other things that I don’t. It’s not easy to navigate through because I don’t have a mouse anymore. I think that once I buy a mouse, it will be easier to use.

I made French toast and an omelet for breakfast this morning, which was actually consumed around lunch time, so it became brunch. I took the time in between to work on my computer and just read up on news. I’m thinking about opening an investment account at a brokerage, but I need to find the right one to get started with all the online trading. I need to put my money to good use since it’s not doing anything in the bank.

I made dinner tonight too, which all cost me less than $6, so it’s not only economical, but healthier too. But there was something iffy with the dinner. The rice didn’t taste so good, and I’m not sure what the reason for that was. I made it the way I always do so I’m not sure why it was so nasty, it really ruined the taste for everything else. The main dish was ruined because of the cold. By the time I started chewing down on it, it was almost frozen solid because I had left it out for like 10 minutes to wait for the rice to finish cooking. The vegetable dish was a little watery, which was weird since I didn’t use any water. It was ok though. I think the best thing out of dinner was the hot chocolate, but that got cold fast too. I think that I’ve got to figure out a way to keep things warm for at least 10 minutes.

I did get to watch some TV during dinner though, which is usual for Thursday nights. I’ll have to get things ready for tomorrow now and I’d like to get some shut eye early tonight so I have enough energy to get me through the day tomorrow.
