Back to school
I only have four classes today.
The first class was with 8th grade ran and we did a lesson out of the book. It was lesson 9 about hobbies. But first we started by asking what everyone did for winter vacation.
The second class was with 8th grade kiku and we pretty much did the same thing as the last class. They were getting yelled at a lot by the other teachers for being loud, but I didn’t really notice it. I’m wondering if I’m just too busy doing my own thing to realize whether they are paying attention or not. Or are the other teachers just getting on the student’s cases too much?
The third class was with 7th grade kiku, and we did a little activity that CP made about her friend and her story about winter. It wasn’t extremely exciting since it is the 7th grade. I’m not into too much junior high school teaching so I don’t enjoy it all too much. The students do well on multiple choices, but seem to stumble when it comes to composition. We want to push the students to work more on composition than to just remember things. That’s not a good way to learn language I think.
The last class today for me was with 11th grade
After school we had English club. I stayed around for that to work with two 7th grade students. We played a memory game in which the teachers did a horrible job and the 7th graders were just awesome. It was a bit embarrassing actually.
I stuck around school later than that because I needed to help other teachers too. I was helping one teacher with an application for a student whose parents want her to study in
Then before I left, I was showing the new
I finally left school around 7:30pm which is really really late for me. I quickly got dinner and went home. It’s about 11:30pm now and I tried to do everything as fast as I could. Anyways, I need to get some rest now since I have to get up really early in the morning tomorrow. I’m debating if I should bring my laptop to school tomorrow or not?
