Coming back to Japan from Seoul
I left the hotel really early to get to the airport really early. My plane left at 8:30am which meant I needed to be packed and ready to leave at 5:30am. I needed to be there 2 hours before, so I was wondering when I could get some sleep involved. But since I will get back to
So this is how the day really went. I didn’t end up getting any sleep from last night and just watched TV till I had to go. The weather was cold. It was minus 7 degrees Celsius, which is pretty cold if you’ve never felt it, like me. This has been the coldest climate that I’ve ever been in… at least that I could remember. But the hotel room was always hot. I think that even though I turned off the heater, it was still going or it might have seeped in from adjacent rooms or something. I had wanted to at least get a few hours of sleep before I left, but that didn’t happen for some reason. I had a little stomachache in the late hours in the morning time before I had to go.
The first place that the tour took us to was to a duty free gift shop. It was pretty interesting eating kimchi for breakfast. I didn’t end up buying any because it was way over priced. But I did get some shoju and other things for some teachers and that kind of thing. Then we got on the bus and left for Gimpo airport, which was across the street, but it was a fairly broad street. The tour guide took us to check in our bags and then she was about to take off. I had asked her a question about postage for postcards and then that took us to the other terminal building and all around the airport to figure out how much it costs to send a postcard to the states and to
Then I went back to the International Terminal at the domestic airport. I got on the plane, watched an interesting movie that I would like to see again actually. I only saw part of it, but it seemed pretty good. It’s called Mr. Housewife, which is pretty much what the name implies. I only got to see a bit of it before breakfast came and we landed. The trip was really short coming back to
