Getting some last minute things done

So I was at home today trying to get some things finished before the English department meeting tomorrow. I remembered that there were many little things that I had to take care of, but they all came a little too late for me. I was working mostly on my textbooks for the first semester of this year. That took a little bit of time to get all the details worked out and all the translations. I stayed up pretty late getting it all finished too. That was because I waited to the last minute to get started with it. Other than that, I was online all day doing a lot of researching and downloading. I like to read a lot of the news. My family really wasn’t around so I couldn’t talk to them much. They haven’t been around recently so I haven’t had a chance to talk to them a lot either. I was talking with two of my other friends though.

We were talking for awhile. It was a lot about relationships and things like that. The topic of relationships really comes up a lot and I have been thinking about it more too. I’m not sure that I would like to get started in one, but I think that it would suck not to have one in two years that I’ve been here. I’m weighing all the pros and cons about it. I need to think about it some more and hopefully I’ll get a chance to do something about it later. Talking to friends is always good and I’m glad that usually on my day off I always have someone to talk to, even if it is for a little time. It makes my time more useful than if I didn’t do anything, but download and research. I did go out today though, but it was to pay a bill that I had and to get dinner. It really wasn’t that much and I’m surprised at how fast the day goes with me doing very little.
