Back to normality
It was very nice to get up late today, even though I left my house late, I arrived at work about an hour early even after walking slow and taking a trip to the bank to get some cash.
The classes were usual today. There wasn’t anything special to report really.
The first class was with 9th grade yuri and they did a dialogue and role play that the other classes did. There was one girl who was speaking a lot of English, even though she was rude and wasn’t paying attention to the class. At least she was speaking in English.
The second class today was with 11th grade ran and they had their Oral test today too. They did a fairly good job, but had sprinkles of bad. Some of the students didn’t memorize their speeches and it showed. So some people got punished for that, but then there were some awesome speeches too, so this class was spread all over the place with their scores. They were still having trouble with want and clothes. I don’t know why, but everyone seems to say those words incorrectly.
The third class was with 7th grade yuri and they reviewed the animals. We didn’t get around to finishing up the animal game though.
After school, I stuck around to study some Japanese. I was working on a logo for the school so we could have a letterhead for English business letters. I heard they used to have one, but then if I made a new one, it wouldn’t hurt.
I had a sore throat all day today. I don’t know what’s going on, but I was coughing a lot today. I think this isn’t good. I finally made a first move in getting a girlfriend today too. I sent an e-mail to this girl I liked to meet and talk. I had only met her twice before and we have exchanged post cards, but that’s about it. I’ll keep everyone posted as what’s going on with that.
I had dinner tonight at Bamiyan. They have the best Fried Rice, and I think I might go back for more tomorrow night. I want to make it a Chinese New Year with eating Chinese food for the first week.
