Resting at home

I didn’t do much today. I did laundry, talked to my sister for a little bit. I made my lunch and dinner today. I was really proud of myself because it was really good. I didn’t make any mistakes with it and it turned out great. That’s really good news for me. I really do feel like I can live independently now and that’s such a liberating feeling. It’s one of my goals to accomplish while I’m in Japan.

I got a package from my mother, which I managed to open. It was hard to open because it was covered in tape. I gave my souvenir gift to my neighbor. I got some kerosene for my heater, which I probably really won’t need since it is getting warmer, but I wanted to use up my money on my card for the kerosene. I finally bought a mouse today, well at least ordered it online. I decided to go with the Logicool or Logitech MX-1000. I think I will like it.

I got a call today from my co-worker; she’s still in Canada and will miss Monday, so I have to fill in for her again. I’m not sure if that is good news or bad news. This time, I’m not as ready as I was last week. So I will have to make some changes and prepare better, even though I have no idea what we will be doing. I’m really going at this on my own and I’ve got to figure out a way to get it handled. I’m a bit worried about that though since I really have no idea what to do next for the classes since I never find out usually until 5 minutes before the class or on the way to class. Now I won’t even have that. But this is also another opportunity for me to do anything that I want and not be criticized by it. I’m looking forward to it again.
