Another day at home
I didn’t do much today. I didn’t cook, I didn’t clean, and I didn’t go out of the house. It seems like a wasted day, and for the most part, it was. I find it hard to find reason to get out of the house now. If I don’t have a reason, I wouldn’t take it upon myself to get out. It wasn’t that great of a day to go out either. The sun wasn’t out and the sky was filled with dark clouds. It was just gloomy and I just sat here like I always do, thinking about what I would do when I go back to the United States.
I talked to my family for a little while. I was helping my younger sister with her speech for tomorrow. She was working on something about stress. I was downloading like crazy today. I have no idea why even. I talked to a few friends of mine today, but it was an on and off thing. And today it was mostly off. The conversation just wasn’t fluent. I have been distracted by a lot of things recently.
I watched some TV today. I really get sucked into Thursday night programming. There are a couple of shows that I watch, but don’t really understand, but still watch. I find it interesting that for Who wants to be a millionaire, they usually have only celebrities on the show. In America, they use regular people who want to become a millionaire, but here, they use celebrities, that through theory are already millionaires. Utaban is also on tonight too and they had some people. They had a little cooking competition between a singer and a host from the show. The host won, which was pretty interesting. They didn’t show how he made it, but it would have been interesting.
There was another show called unbelievable and today they featured a story from the U.S. about a kill dozer. It’s a bull dozer with a concrete slab on top that went on a rampage in June 2004. It destroyed many buildings, and didn’t kill anyone. It was pretty interesting, even though I was watching it all in Japanese. I didn’t know that happened and it was right before I left to live in Japan too.
