American Quiz

I thought this would be fun to post since I haven't done one of these in a long time and this is the firsr one for my blogspot too. I hope you like it and see how American are you. I'm glad that I haven't lost everything about my past life living here in Japan.

You Are 57% American

Most times you are proud to be an American.
Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe
Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home.
You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you!

A busy Monday

I took care of a lot of things today. I woke up early to get ready early to go out and take care of the wire transfer trouble that I got last week. Since it is a two hour trip to the bank, I needed to leave early to make sure that I got there in time for them to send it and for me to confirm it. I arrived around noon time and it took about an hour for them to get everything squared away. I believe that everything is now finished with that and they ran away with $80 in charges, so it better be taken care of.

On the way back, I got my new commuter pass for work. Actually it will be my last one too since it will take me until the end of the school year and even into the summer. I was thinking about going shopping around the Yokohama station area, but it was getting really hot and I had other things to take care of today.

I went to a few places. I got a new dress shirt from the Fuji marketplace and some rubber gloves for washing dishes because the ones I have, have holes in them. But now all of that is taken care of. I also did some grocery shopping so I could have some soup that I just learned how to make from my mother. I miss having it, so I learned how to do it, but I haven’t tried it out, so I want to try it. It was really hot walking home.

I stopped off at 7-11 and paid for two bills and threw away some garbage too. So I really was able to get a lot of the little things done today. I was contemplating to invite one of my co-workers out for lunch today since she has the day off, but I decided that I needed to take care of other things today. But I think that if they have time over Golden Week, I should do something with them. My goal for this week is to have a meeting with someone every day of Golden Week. I think that it will be a perfect time to meet friends that I haven’t met in a long ass time.

When I came home, I talked to my sister and helped her work out some computer problems. I think that she will be able to have a faster connection once we have the program in place and everything will be running smoothly. She has a webcam on the laptop and it runs slow because she doesn’t have enough space on her hard drive. Since I just partitioned my drive, I showed her how to do it on her computer too. It should go perfectly, but we’ll see tomorrow.

I started making lunch and dinner at this time. I only had toast for breakfast so by the mid-afternoon time I was getting really hungry. But at least I feel accomplished today, which is something new for me. I haven’t felt this way in a long time.
