Van Gogh, MI3, Club Paradiso

I woke up later today than I did yesterday. I got ready and left for the Van Gogh Museum. I spent about an hour there which was something pretty surprising for me since there really wasn’t much to see. It was cool to see all the originals of some famous works. There were other artists’ famous works too like Monet and Picasso. So that was pretty cool. It was really raining hard today too when I left the museum.

Even though it was raining, I decided to skip going to wait at Anne Frank’s house and walked to Central Station. I saw many things going there and had a good chance to take some photos. I arrived at the information booth right when SEK arrived there.

It was perfect timing. From there we jumped on the canal cruise around the city through the canals. It wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. I was getting a headache sitting there because it got hot on the boat with all the windows. We had lunch at Maoz and ate falafels.

From there, we decided to go back to the hostel and pick up my stuff to go to drop it off at SEK’s place. Then, we stayed there and talked for a bit before we went to a seminar at the University of Amsterdam about Cuban-American migration. It was informative.

Then we went to pick up her bike at Central Station. I had to ride on the back to her apartment. We got changed to go clubbing, but then we went to go to meet her boyfriend and go see MI3. It was an interesting movie, but the end was cheesy. From there, we had dinner. Shawala or something like that. It was pretty good. Then we went to club paradise. The line to get in was extremely long about 30 minutes to get in. But we waited in the rain. We stayed there till around 3:30am then I walked home from there. I didn’t get to bed till around 4:30am. I will check out at 10am and get ready to move to SEK’s in the morning.
